Here are some ways we can help: Seed: If your lawn is old, neglected or damaged by Ohio summer droughts, you might want to replace the old grass with today’s newer grass seed. Why? Today’s seed is more hardy and resistant to disease and insects. Sod: This is the path to instant green. It costs more than seeding, due to material cost and labor, but many customers love the result. Aerate and overseed: If your lawn is nice but you want thicker grass, you might choose to aerate first, then use a grass seeder to spread new seed. Or, we can use a machine to slice the ground and insert seeds into the soil. This is called slice seeding. Many of our customers use all these methods. They may sod the front yard and seed the sides and back, or apply seed one year and do the aeration and grass seed process every year or two until the grass thickness meets their liking.
